    We have an exciting opportunity as a Marketing Manager, for a 6-month fixed term contract.  Working closely with multiple stakeholders throughout the business, you will have a strong passion for everything marketing and are customer-focused with proven experience in delivering successful, effective multi-channel campaigns.
     
    You will receive an annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 pro-rata and excellent benefits.
     
    About the role:
     
    As a Marketing Manager you will be focused on developing and executing marketing programs that promote the value of our services and of Water itself to encourage favourable opinions of the work we do and improve the understanding of water across the Southwest.
     

    Wat you'll be doing:

     

    1. Creating, developing and evaluating marketing plans and campaigns, with the foresight and ability to redirect the campaign as required
    2. Using marketing as a vehicle to influence and encourage behavioural change
    3. Engaging with and influencing stakeholders
    4. Understanding of digital channels, traditional marketing methods and the skill to seamlessly blend and apply them.
    5. Communicating effectively and eloquently to tell the story, translating a complicated business into understandable, concise messages both verbally and in writing
    6. Editing and proof-reading content
    7. Researching and implementing contemporary and relevant marketing practices and techniques
    8. Managing social media channels and scheduling channel-specific content
    9. Reporting on performance against targets across social media accounts, website and newsletters.
    10. Responding to ad hoc requirements such as marketing support on project work
    11. Managing communications for operational incidents and projects, fielding media enquiries when required, as part of an out of hours standby rota
    12. Supporting the wider Communications Team as and when required

     

    What we are looking for:

     

    1. A marketing qualification is desirable, with experience from agency or client-side
    2. Experience in managing below and above the line campaigns
    3. The ability to influence senior managers and stakeholders
    4. A passion for understanding customers and their needs
    5. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
    6. Awareness and understanding of company issues
    7. Excellent project and time management skills
    8. Understanding of good process management across Marketing
    9. You must be competent in using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
