About this role
We are looking for an Account-Based Marketing Manager who will be responsible for expanding our business with existing channel partners, retaining existing clients, and generating referrals to new channel partners. Through cultivating our accounts, you will both improve our existing customer retention rates and generate net new leads with a focus on the conversion rate to revenue to achieve targets. You’ll know how to build compelling campaigns for our top tier accounts and be comfortable reporting the impact your measurable campaigns are having on the overall business trajectory.
The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions for getting in front of our existing client and partner audience through a combination of events and content distribution.
In this role, you will
- Develop a comprehensive account-based marketing strategy for SmithRx and execute this strategy to generate leads and pipeline and hit overall business performance goals
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive opportunities at our top-tier accounts and channel partners
- Produce regular educational webinars with industry domain experts for our existing channel partner and client audience
- Work with our Account Management team to develop case studies and testimonials that demonstrate SmithRx’s unique value proposition
- Document personas that capture our typical client profiles and develop a deep understanding of our current customer segmentation
- Develop newsletter and blog content catered to existing channel partners and clients
- Put together bespoke events for our top tier customers that drive engagement with SmithRx
- Build and maintain a close partnership with sales team members and sales leadership to ensure tight campaign alignment and follow-up throughout the buyer’s journey
- Be a strategic partner to all stakeholders including peers across the sales and marketing orgs
- Be a thought partner on SmithRx’s external presentation at industry events such as conferences and in channel partner engagements
About you
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-8 years in account-based marketing at a high-growth B2B startup with a measurable impact on opportunity creation and pipeline growth. Experience in Saas B2B highly desired
- You obsess about what moves the needle for opportunity creation within our top-tier accounts
- You feel comfortable constantly gaining intelligence on our existing and new competitors and you’re eager to consume podcasts and webinars or read relevant reports to keep your finger on the pulse of our industry
- You’re comfortable with learning quickly and operating in an unstructured environment
- You are passionate about using data from Salesforce and other sales and marketing tools to optimize our ABM strategy
- San Francisco Bay Area based candidates preferred
