Wanted: Marketing Campaigns Executive (who wants to work hard and build Master of Malt's reach the smart scrappy way, not the slow corporate way)

Remote, within reach of our London office and / or Tonbridge office (perhaps a day every week or two in the office)

    About us:

We’re a multi-award-winning drinks and technology start-up on a mission to disrupt the drinks industry.

We’re re-imagining online drinks retail from the ground up, using cutting edge technology and fanatical customer service to build a company we want to be customers of and create unexpected delight as we help people explore, buy and enjoy high end whisky and other spirits.

In everything we do, we are disruptive innovators; it is baked into our DNA to challenge orthodoxy and received wisdom wherever we find it.

We’ve grown a lot since we were just a few kids in a shed with big dreams, but we haven’t lost our hunger to build something great, and we’re looking for people who have the same passion for making things better to join us on that journey.

In the last 10 years we’ve become the number 1 player in our industry, but we’ve barely gotten started. We’re excited about the future, so if you’d like to come and help us build it, read on!

    The role:

Assist in the planning, development and implementation of exciting, creative multi-channel Master of Malt marketing campaigns and projects, supporting the Campaign Manager and wider Marketing and D2C teams.

In your first 30 days you’ll go on a crash course to understand the ins and outs of the marketing campaigns team and how we interact with the wider D2C team. You’ll also be introduced to/get acquainted with all of our/your key supplier accounts who work with us year on year to showcase their brands across our website and marketing channels.

In your first 60 days you will be running your own supplier-led activities on a regular basis with assistance from the wider team and you’ll have run your very own campaign of your own creation, which you will manage in every aspect, start to finish.

In your first 90 days you’ll be running all types of marketing activity like a well-oiled machine! This means being confident in the marketing activity rate card we offer suppliers, and even offering tailored suggestions to your supplier accounts that you look after. You will be partaking in campaigns strategy planning, and inputting your own insights and knowledge to aid in the constant improvement of the campaigns processes and optimisation of activity.

    Primary tasks and responsibilities

    1. Implement and measure multi-channel Master of Malt marketing campaigns, as directed by the Marketing Campaigns Manager.
    2. Creatively support the Campaigns team proactively coming up with new campaign ideas and being a positive contributor to the wider Marketing team.
    3. Keep project documents (eg. standard operating procedures (SOP)) up to date so they can be used as a central point of reference for all campaigns.
    4. Communicate across departments to ensure all relevant ‘on-boarding’ takes place for each campaign or project.
    5. Ensure all projects are kept within budget and/or to deadline.
    6. Ensure brand guidelines are followed in all marketing campaigns and projects to generate beautiful, best-in-class marketing materials across a range of channels.
    7. Create detailed critical paths and project manage each and every aspect.

    11. Provide monthly reporting on campaign (internal and external) and email performance.
    12. Effectively manage and grow supplier relationships, having the confidence to offer tailored suggestions of activity suitable for the supplier’s/brand’s unique needs.
    13. Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in front of internal and external stakeholders.

    1. Keen personal interest in marketing, you enjoy working with Data and can have fun at work whilst still delivering, with a good sense of humour.
    2. You are highly intelligent, tenacious and motivated. You are utterly intolerant of corporate rubbish (to put it politely) and mediocrity.
    3. You have a strong bias for action combined with a positive can-do attitude. You learn fast, and relish a challenge. You have an impeccable eye for detail, you question things and need to understand them on a deep level. You get out of bed each morning excited to get cracking and make things better.
    4. You are exceptionally curious and creative - solving hard problems is what you live for.
    5. You thrive in a team environment, bringing enthusiasm and ideas to the table, as well as flexible approach within organised chaos.

    Benefits

We’re all about boundless curiosity, so you’ll discover loads of opportunities to spark your creative flair and work along-side unreal talent who all have the same job description, to ‘Make Atom Successful.’ Trust is at the epicentre of all that we can do, so you’ll work in a transparent and honest environment where we have each other’s backs, and be free of aging corporate policies and rules.

Life here’s about so much more than pay and benefits - you might get a slightly higher salary if you cram onto an expensive, crowded commuter train into the city, but you’ll struggle to find a company with the flex, agility and unique-ness that we have. In short, we’ve got you covered financially but if money is your main driver, we’re not for you.

We hate waste in all of it’s forms and time is no different, so we’re focused on productivity and output rather than when or where you work, or what you wear into the office - you can come in fancy dress for all we care! This means that although we can’t promise anything, flexible working options are built into our DNA.

Along with the stuff you get for turning up to work each day (think private healthcare scheme, unlimited annual leave, pension, cycle-2-work, eye care, enhanced maternity & paternity leave, free food, drinks and parking at the office), you’ll also get a healthy staff discount on our world-class range (just in case that makes a difference).

We don’t sit still, and there’s a lot more to come... Apply now if you want to join us.
