    HoneyBook is looking for a full time Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team to develop marketing assets to connect with our current and prospective members. The ideal candidate is passionate and collaborative, a master at mixing motifs, typography, color, motion, and photography into innovative and exciting layouts. They can quickly discern project needs and present ideas professionally. They love the craft of brand building and know how to work across multiple channels with an understanding of the nuances needed to reach a variety of audiences. 

     

    Like our members, we’re obsessed with our craft and all the details that go into creating an exceptional experience. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to grow by doing, an individual comfortable with responsibility, and someone eager to be a part of building a category-defining brand. This role will report to the Creative Director.

     

    Here are a few of the things you will do:

     

    1. Collaborate with creatives and marketers to develop graphics assets for multiple channels and formats including ads, web, email, and social. 
    2. Contribute to the development, growth, and refinement of our brand and ensure it is implemented consistently. 
    3. Keep up with industry best practices and emerging strategies, constantly pushing for fresh and innovative ideas. 
    4. Maintain a strong understanding of our products and target audience.

     

    Here is what is needed:

     

    1. You have 3-6 years of experience as a graphic or brand designer (or equivalent experience) with a strong portfolio that displays an ability to design for various channels and mediums, particularly ads, email, web, social, video. 
    2. You have a passion for graphic design, and storytelling and a discerning sense for compelling creative, optimized for performance.
    3. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. 
    4. You possess a strong sense of curiosity and grit, have the ability to work independently, and have a preference for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    5. You are able to clearly express ideas to both technical/creative and non-technical/creative individuals.
    6. Complete fluency with design software, including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Figma. Experience using motion design software a big plus.
