    We’re looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist with a can-do attitude who is excited about the prospect of joining a fast-paced environment at one of Toronto’s high-growth startups. At HiMama, we’re on a mission to empower Early Childhood Educators and influence learning outcomes for children aged zero to five. We believe in owning positive change, and our new Marketing Automation Specialist will play a key role in supporting the operational backbone of that mission. 
     
    Revenue Operations at HiMama
     
    RevOps at HiMama is a centralized operations team supporting our entire go-to-market org, from Marketing to Sales to Customer Success. We own the technology, processes, and data that drive efficiencies across the entire customer journey. The team is stacked with technical, hardworking ops folks—you’ll gain exposure to the entire customer lifecycle and leverage your automation expertise to bring new customer journeys to life. 
     
    The Marketing Automation Specialist Role
     
    Are you an analytical, technical, and results-driven marketing automation expert? Have you helped scale marketing automation infrastructure, developed insights into customer journey performance, and helped increase efficiency through tools and automation? HiMama is looking for amazing people like you to join our RevOps team and act as a key business partner to our revenue teams (primarily Marketing, though you’ll also work closely with Sales and Customer Success)!

     

    What You'll Be Doing

     

    1. Building and managing a foundation of technology and systems that are scalable for the rest of the marketing team (Marketo will be your primary tool here) 
    2. Managing the marketing tech stack and its integration with other systems, particularly between Marketo and Salesforce (and some work with Salesloft)
    3. Helping marketing team members to build nurture programs and other automation programs that allow our marketing to scale; acting as a strategic partner to them and providing guidance around best practises
    4. Driving customer product adoption through custom, automated lifecycle journeys leveraging data and triggers from a variety of data sources
    5. Seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies across our customer lifecycle, from lead capture onward, through marketing automation
    6. Regular reporting and analytics on program efficacy, with an eye for constant iteration and improvement
    7. In close partnership with Marketing and Customer Success, you’ll leverage these insights to provide recommendations for ongoing testing and optimization

     

    What You Bring to Our Team

     

    1. 1-3 years experience in a marketing ops, marketing automation, or demand gen role
    2. SaaS or tech startup experience is a mus
    3. tYou’re more than familiar with the buyer journey, the lead-opportunity lifecycle and the B2B “funnel”
    4. You’re a Marketo whiz (bonus points if you’re a Marketo Certified Expert) and comfortable with Salesforce
    5. Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google sheets
    6. You have a technical mindset with an analytical method to solving problems and approaching data
    7. You are curious, motivated, detail-oriented and a self-starter
