    THE POSITION:

    FanDuel is looking for a Manager, Marketing Technology to help drive our customer retention, martech operations, and strategic marketing initiatives through MarTech technology advancement. You will play a key role in the Marketing Technology & Operations team, with ownership over marketing technology initiatives. An ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of CRM systems / technologies and be an advocate for MarTech innovation, evangelizing best practices throughout the company to produce delightful customer experiences and drive business KPIs. You will use your background in CRM and your technical acumen to enable different FanDuel brand verticals to do more with new and existing tools. This is an exciting opportunity to help elevate revenue driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.


    THE GAME PLAN:
    Everyone on our team has a part to play

    Technical Knowledge

    1. Lead several innovation functions within Marketing Technology & Operations including Transactional customer communications, data/usage management/reporting, and POC for Finance/Procurement for key strategic contracts/invoicing
    2. Become thought leader of strategy and innovation by unlocking opportunities for transactional email through using technology (Braze, Knime, CDP, Promotions Engine)
    3. Be a resource for others as a systems expert, sharing extensive knowledge of our marketing technology stack (Braze, Knime, CDP) and our data sources
    4. Recommend where campaign execution can be made more efficient through implementation of a new feature, and play a lead role in partnering up with Automation and Implementation team
    5. Learn APIs and other data transfer methods to automate marketing campaigns end-to-end and do campaign personalization at scale using Movable Ink
    6. Partner with relevant teams on the creation, testing and deployment of assets used in automations and campaigns with advanced personalization
    7. Understand the breadth of customer marketing communications we send, and take all programs and channels into account when thinking through new campaigns to implement


    Program Management

    1. Serve as thought leader with respect to Marketing Technology & Operations, build relationships w/ key stakeholders, and deep understanding of impact on the overall business
    2. Become POC for Marketing Procurement (invoice routing, forecasts, etc.) and POC for Advanced Usage analysis for primary tools i.e. Braze and Segment
    3. Own tech stack campaign marketing performance (Braze) at a BU level and Segment, our CDP
    4. Provide analysis and subsequent strategic recommendations, quantitative/qualitative, regarding impact of vendor usage data at a monthly tracking level
    5. Contribute to the planning and development of a marketing technology roadmap that accomplishes set business goals
    6. Cultivate collaborative and productive relationships with product and engineering teams
    7. Evaluate capabilities of new and existing vendors, and collaborate on new tool implementations alongside our Product Development and engineering teams, Marketing Director and VP
    8. Track usage on owned platforms, project needs for future contract periods and contract renewal discussions
    9. Present roadmap and program updates to groups of business stakeholders


    Team Development

    1. Oversee the creation of documentation for owned projects to facilitate knowledge sharing
    2. Create and document new team processes for deploying campaigns and technology launches
    3. Identify, develop and help foster top talent within the wider Marketing organization
    4. Create an inspiring environment for teammates to learn and advance


    THE STATS:
    What we're looking for in our next teammate

    1. 4+ years of experience in email and/or mobile marketing, with experience creating and managing Marketing campaigns from start to finish
    2. Experience mentoring junior team members
    3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
    4. Strong project/program managements skills working with complex deliverables and shifting timelines
    5. Proven experience with marketing communications and personalization tools (e.g. Braze and Movable Ink)
    6. Experience working with Customer Data Platform Technologies (e.g. Segment, mParticle, Tealium)
    7. Experience working with product and engineering teams on executing a development roadmap
    8. Expert knowledge of CRM platform metrics
    9. Proficient in coding emails in HTML and CSS
    10. Proven experience creating business cases and influencing product roadmaps
    11. Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
    12. Strong organizational skills and effective at project management
    13. An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products preferred
