About the role
As Marketing Coordinator, you will play an integral and substantive role on the Energy Vault Global Marketing Team. You will actively work behind the scenes, with a laser focus on supporting day-to-day functions of the group across paid and owned marketing efforts. You will be working across internal teams to manage marketing projects and initiatives, while ensuring clear next steps are defined, calendarized, and delivered upon for all projects. This role will also be responsible for evaluating, reporting on, and improving marketing functions. Our ideal candidate is equally passionate about marketing as they are about events.
You are highly detail-oriented, resourceful, efficient, and flexible while operating in a fast-paced professional environment. Energized about working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will leverage your excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside your ability to keep multiple initiatives advancing and on target. You are always able to stay a few steps ahead and anticipate what will be needed to support the team and maximize results. Your interest in researching new approaches and your confidence to suggest improvements to existing processes or introduce new ones is welcome and appreciated.

This will be a primarily on-site role in the Westlake Village, California office.
What you will do
- Act as day-to-day marketing point of contact for both regional and global marketing teams.
- Coordinate design, sourcing, and delivery of company gifts and other branded company merchandise with outside, eco-responsible vendors.
- Handle logistics associated with local meetings, appointments, and conferences.
- Project management, as per direction from Chief Marketing Officer and Global Events Manager.
- Follows up on various activities to ensure project completion and deadlines are met. May include weekly reports, status updates, meeting follow-ups, requests for information, projects, programs, events, etc.
- Understand our brand, products, and customers to ensure content meets the marketing strategy and always reflects the brand.
- Communicate all promotions and initiatives in a timely and professional manner.
- Attend and contribute ideas in daily marketing calls.
- Field company-wide and external requests for new and existing marketing collateral, and Energy Vault branded materials.
- Oversee corporate marketing sponsorship duties for external conferences and events, including fielding inter- and cross-departmental requests, coordinating shipments of materials, and processing invoices.
- Ensure all marketing materials are easily accessible, accurate, and maintained up to date.
- Create purchase requisitions and reconcile monthly departmental invoices.
- Field ad hoc marketing requests as needed.

What a qualified candidate should possess
- 0-2 years of experience in a marketing role.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects and handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with a high sense of urgency and initiative.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find creative solutions.
- Ability to work cross functionally collaborating with global teams in a fast-paced, creative environment with staff members at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer relations and organization skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and able to enthuse and motivate others.
- Comfort in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.
- Experience in public companies is a plus.
