    We are seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join the Marketing Automation team at Dun & Bradstreet. We are focused on building and optimizing processes that fuel the marketing automation strategies, while managing the lead funnel to maximize ROI and growth. This role primarily supports our demand generation marketing team, as the SME for all things marketing automation and email optimization. You are responsible for the execution and delivery of our demand generation programs and on the Marketo platform, which includes building and implementing campaigns that deliver against specific business objectives. This role will report to the Director of Marketing Operations.

     

    Essential Key Responsibilities:

     

    1. Critical member of the marketing automation team based in a KANBAN style environment
    2. Leverage and maintain standard request forms for demand generation marketing managers use for email or program creation requirements
    3. Be primary recommender in defining audience targeting requirements and identify key audience insights. Collaborate with Demand Generation and GTM Insights (data) on targeting requests.
    4. Set up, test and deploy audience-specific email programs, event programs, and engagement programs using the Marketo platform
    5. Set goals for engaging key audiences; identify, recommend, implement improvements in service of those goals
    6. Own regular reporting and analytics for Email/Marketo Program performance
    7. Monitor and continually optimize campaigns by designing, owning, and conducting optimization testing.
    8. Monitor lead delivery, identify issues and resolve, propose changes to lead delivery and follow-up standards and approach to increase conversion and efficiency
    9. Troubleshoot Marketo issues in a timely and thorough manner
    10. Be a Marketing Automation SME and champion best practices, while documenting processes and cross-training internal teams
    11. Stay well-informed of current marketing automation trendsbest practices, and strategies

     

    Education/Experience and Competencies:

     

    1. 5+ years of experience in Marketo and working with CRMs. Adobe Certified Expert is preferred.
    2. 8+ years of marketing automation or operations experience & Bachelor’s degree (or 6+ & Masters degree)
    3. Proficient knowledge of the basics of Marketo reporting, lead scoring and lead flow process
    4. Understanding of the customer journey and marketing funnel.
    5. Exceptional communication skills
    6. Documenting/training materials
    7. Can-do attitude with a strong focus on bringing results
    8. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
    9. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
