    Calling all aspiring sales professionals! This is your chance to pioneer and really have an impact in a growing company! Coconut’s sales team is growing and this role is a great opportunity to be part of our awesome Business Development team and champion our product to potential customers! Working closely with the rest of the Sales and Marketing teams, this position will work with new prospects to evolve customized solutions that will better serve their customer base. With accountability over lead generation - the Business Development Team is key to Coconut’s continued success and growth. As expert relationship builders - our BDR’s seek out new clients to join our network and partner with each one to ensure our customers win with their clients.

     

    The ideal person for this role will have demonstrated their ability to maintain customer relationships and proactively identify, pursue, and maintain a constant pipeline of potential customers. You’ll do this via prospecting, networking, and referral activities. You are driven, motivated, and eager to grow in your own sales career and strive to have an impact on the success of the company!

    YOU'RE FIRED UP TO:

     

    1. Build relationships with new prospects
    2. Qualify leads for the Sales team
    3. Work with the Sales & Marketing teams to develop outbound demand generation campaigns leveraging SalesLoft, Hubspot, Salesforce.com, and various data tools
    4. Initiate the sales process through multiple inbound and outbound cold calling, email, and social media touch points
    5. Self source of additional new business opportunities for Coconut and conduct research to identify potential prospects
    6. When safe to do so, attend industry functions and trade shows to generate new leads for the Sales team
    7. Track and record activity on accounts and leads in Salesforce.com
    8. Maintain a clean inbound funnel and collaborate with Account Executives to get the best solution for our customers

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

     

    1. 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role
    2. You’re personable, have excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
    3. Naturally curious and have a passion to learn and grow into progressive sales positions
    4. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
    5. A strong drive for results in a collaborative, win-as-a-team environment

     

    BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

     

    1. SaaS sales experience
    2. Experience selling over multiple channels: phone, email, social, face to face, while  using multiple sales processes
    3. Hands on experience working with a CRM (eg. Salesforce, etc)
    4. Industry exposure in an outbound and/or new business development function
    5. Proven track record of success in a similar enterprise software environment
