The Marketing Specialist role at Acceleration Partners might be for you. This is a remote, work from home position, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners (a structure central to our culture and our vision to change the work/life paradigm). Ideal candidates will reside within the United Kingdom. Some travel is required for internal meetings, conferences, networking events etc.

     

    The Marketing Specialist will report into the Head of EMEA Marketing, with a dotted line to the Director of Content and Creative. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in growing their social media management and marketing generalist skills in a cross-functional marketing role.


    THE ROLE:


    Top 5 Job Responsibilities

     

    1. Global Social Media Channels:Responsible for the daily management and growth of AP’s global social channels and calendar, with input from the Director of Content and Creative. Proactively plan content based on the content team’s quarterly strategy and goals; write and/or edit all social copy to align to social strategy.
    2. Global Social Media Analytics: Responsible for monitoring the success of AP’s global social media channels, providing monthly and quarterly metrics based on identified KPIs, and making data-driven social media recommendations and changes.
    3. EMEA Event Marketing and Event Operations: Execute EMEA event plans and logistics under supervision of the Head of EMEA Marketing. Plan campaigns to promote our presence at events including content and social.
    4. EMEA Content:Co-ordinate with the global content team on EMEA content projects including blog posts, eBooks, webinars. Spot regional content opportunities to put forward to the global content team for production. Edit global content to meet regional nuances and translate to UK-EN.
    5. EMEA Marketing Support:Provide ongoing admin and project management support to the Head of EMEA marketing for regionally specific marketing projects, campaigns, and operations. This support will cover multiple marketing disciplines and will involve admin, as well as strategic support.

     

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: 


    By six months...The Marketing Specialist is viewed as a trusted resource for managing EMEA’s ongoing marketing initiatives and global social media. They work comfortably across all marketing disciplines and work well with different internal stakeholders.  They will demonstrate a clear understanding of the different marketing mediums and have established relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

     

    At the end of year one... The Marketing Specialist is producing a high volume of high-quality work and delivering on the marketing team’s yearly goals, providing support across all key marketing initiatives. They will make proactive recommendations for the EMEA marketing strategy and put forward strategic process recommendations. They work independently. 

     

    QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

     

    1. Knows how to collaborate with team members in a remote environment and is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
    2. Has confidence, poise, and eloquence in difficult situations
    3. Thrives in a last-paced environment and enjoys bringing order to chaos
    4. Possesses mature and measured judgment, and the ability to solve problems on your own
    5. Possesses excellent verbal and written presentation skills and has strong attention to detail
    6. Are creative and enjoys writing captivating copy
    7. Loves to continually learn and stay ahead of the industry pack
    8. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritises workload to meet deadlines
    9. Works independently

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

     

    1. 3-5+ years of marketing experience (B2B agency role an added benefit)
    2. Proficient with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Experience managing organic and paid social campaigns.
    3. Experience planning and executing events
    4. Excellent project management skills project prioritisation skills
    5. Experience working in Adobe Photoshop (InDesign an added benefit)
    6. Excellent writing and proofing skills
    7. Copywriting experience across a variety of marketing mediums
    8. Holds a valid passport and has ability to travel internationally as required
    9. Ability to travel when needed to conferences and team meetings
